Dr Muriel Newman established the New Zealand Centre for Political Research as a public policy think tank in 2005 after nine years as a Member of Parliament. A former Chamber of Commerce President, her background is in business and education.

Here are some suggestions that we hope may help you navigate your way around our new website.

Our weekly POLL is positioned on the RIGHT HAND sidebar.

On the LEFT HAND SIDEBAR you can find the Topic Index along with live parliamentary, political and news feeds.

If the site is not displaying correctly it may be that you are using an old version of your browser. If you update your browser (Chrome, Explorer etc) to the latest version and still have problems, please let us know.
